Lighter iems

Hello I’ve purchased 2 different iems now, the original being KZ x HBB PR2 and the second set being the moondrop chu 2s. I bought the KZ almost a year ago after trying to get invested in the hobby and found that no matter what ear tips I bought nothing would allow me to wear them for longer than around 20 mins without some ear pain. I recently tried again with the moondrops and found that since they are considerably lighter and in conjunction haven’t been hurting my ears at all even when wearing them for over an hour or two. I’m using the Dune S&S ear tips that I had since last year and I’m really loving them.

I was curious if this is a common thing that others have found and if they have more recommendations for Iems that seem a little lighter, as I’d love to dive a little further into the rabbit hole now. I know there’s some Sennheiser ie 200 ones for around 150 but I’m not sure if they’re worth the investment or if there are better options. I’d also really appreciate any recommendations on cable brands that are similar to the ones that came with the moondrops but are a little longer.

Thank you for any advice!

Hello, I received my new pair of Ozlo earbuds yesterday and instantly noticed that the right earbud keeps emitting a super high pitch noise when listening to anything within the app and it’s even there with just sitting in silence. It’s painful enough at times that I’m already thinking about trying to send them back. Yesterday I sent a message to one of the mods over Reddit and they responded in what I thought was a very quick response. I woke up had a quick conversation about getting my right ear bud replaced and they asked for my email and have gone radio silent. I haven’t received anything via my email nor have I been able to get a response from the mod since. I also sent a email ticket in and haven’t gotten any response. I’m growing increasingly frustrated at what just seems to be an inherent lack of communication about what’s going on with a product that has the price tag that it has. I’m wanting to get a replacement right earbud because after trying them for one night they genuinely are comfortable but if I don’t have some actual communication soon I’ll be looking at investing into another sleepbud.
