Hair Transplant – 4154 Grafts with Dr. Bekir Bek
After extensive research and several consultations with different doctors, I got my hair transplant with Dr. Bekir Bek in September 2025. I reached out to Dr. Bek at the beginning of 2025 via WhatsApp, sending him some photos for reference. He was always very quick to respond and willing to answer all my questions.
Dr Bek anticipated that I would need around ~ 4200-4700 grafts total over the course of 3 days for my hairline and crown. The price was 2.3 Euros per graft to be paid in cash. I ended up booking with him by sending a $500 USD deposit and sent him my flight & hotel details. He sent me some great preoperative instructions to follow before I arrived.
Dr Bek arranged a car to pick me up from the airport and suggested some hotels I could stay at nearby his office. I ended up staying across the street from his office, making it a short walk to and from my appointments.
I would arrive to his office building in the morning and one of his assistants would escort me upstairs to the clinic. Dr Bek’s clinic was beautiful and very clean. We had a quick consultation in his office on the first day to go over some paperwork, then he had me sit in front of a mirror where they shaved my head. He then looked over my scalp to determine how many hairs I had available in my transplant area. We then discussed our overall plan for the hairline and crown. He was very kind and took any of my concerns seriously to ensure that I was satisfied. Once we came up with a plan, I went to the operation chair where they started an IV to give me a mild sedative. I started by laying on my stomach for them to numb the area on the back of my head where the grafts would be taken from. The numbing was probably the worst part, but it did not deter from the experience, and the pain was only maybe a 4/10. Once I was numb, they began extracting the follicles. This part was not painful, and I was able to listen to music and honestly fell asleep a few times. Once they were done extracting, I flipped to my back where they began implanting the hairs. We took a quick break for lunch and then got back to it. This same process was completed each day, after which they would bandage my head, and I would go back to the hotel.
Graft Summary:
Day 1: 1302 grafts (29 single, 268 double, 705 triple, 300 quadruple)
Day 2: 1855 grafts (75 single, 518 double, 891 triple, 371 quadruple)
Day 3: 997 grafts (58 single, 368 double, 432 triple, 139 quadruple)
Finish: 4151 total grafts
I was given some antibiotics and other medications and creams to be used throughout and after my stay in Turkey. He also provided me with post-operative instructions. The worst part was having to sleep on my back, but it was doable. I had basically no pain between sessions, and even after it was all completed, I had no pain.
Overall, my experience with Dr Bek was incredible. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone. Everything went very smoothly and it was a very positive experience. 9 months later I am very happy with my results and am forever grateful for Dr Bek & his team. His team of nurses were so polite, and I could tell that they truly love what they do. Even now, Dr Bek still reaches out to make sure I am doing well and asks for updates on my progress.
