Too scared to fall asleep

This might be kind of long, but I've been struggling my entire life with sleeping and would like some advice or tips. I grew up in a large family, so I'm used to someone always being in the house. Never had to get used to sleeping in an empty house, alone. Now as an adult I can't sleep unless my partner is home, which is difficult as we have different schedules. I've tried all kinds of things, meditation, yoga, teas, supplements, otc sleep aids, noise machines/fans, you name it. I just have a very intense fear that I'm in danger, someone is going to break into my house, or someone is right outside my door. I have to have a light on in the hallway at all times so I can see if someone is standing outside my door. I feel crazy, I'm so tired all the time. I struggle to fall asleep and when I do I struggle to stay asleep, and end up waking up often unable to fall back asleep. Staring at my door.

I'm a stocker, but I'm not available during certain hours because I share a car + have other obligations. SM keeps the schedule for the truck days blank and waits until the last minute to say anything about the trucks and then gets mad at me when they find out that I've made plans that day. When, again, the schedule is blank.

It's a constant issue with my SM asking me to work times that she knows I'm not available. Including asking if I want to work on days that have been requested and approved off. I'm just losing my mind. The schedule is constantly changing even after being posted. Most of the time it changes day to day. It's driving me insane.
