Dragon ball episodes missing? And out of order?

So I’ve been rewatching OG Dragon Ball with my roommate, and all of sudden today there’s like less than half the episodes and some are even out of order. Any ideas to what happened? I’m in America btw

I keep seeing things about Kaguya/kinships being from “branch” family. I’ve never seen or heard this mentioned and I’ve seen and read everything from Naruto for the most part, including all of boruto. Did I miss something? Or is this a fan thing?
