I recently bought an a7siii and after a couple of days of shooting I found what looks to be a micro scuff on my sensor… I don’t know if this is dust, spit or if something hit my sensor. I know it’s wrong but before I knew it wasn’t good to do it I tried lightly blowing on and slightly touching the mark with a soft micro fiber q tip but to my surprise it didn’t move and did nothing so I immediately stopped touching it and did some research. whatever it is it looks like it might be located on the inside of the camera sensor past the first layer.
I know it might not be a scratch bc it looks like a small light grey circular mark on the side of my camera sensor when filming, and isn’t super noticeable but it’s just annoying to have to see when paying attention to the shot. Also I never cleaned my sensor before and a cleaning kit is coming in the mail tomorrow so I will update the post later tomorrow!
