A7iii turns off by itself
so recently my a7iii randomly keeps turning itself off, more exactly everything on the camera becomes black but it s still on and you can see the screen is on and if I press the shutter button it basically restarts itself like nothing happend like you just turned on the camera, no errors no messages no missing photos or something, I didn t find any solution on the internet, and on chatgpt it says it can be a motherboard problem, or with the battery, or with the pins, I don t any friends with my battery model to test or to buy one, and it s my only battery.
Need advice please
Hey guys,
I’ve been really loving cinematic shots lately and I’ve got a bunch of ideas in my head I want to actually bring to life.
I’m thinking of starting with a Sony A7 III and a 50mm f/1.8 since I’m on a budget. I want something more flexible than just using a phone and actually learn framing, focal lengths, etc.
Total beginner here. Mainly wanna shoot cinematic stuff, random city shots, landscapes etc.
Is this a good starting point or should I go a different route?
Also, is 50mm too tight for a first lens?
Appreciate any advice 🙏
Changed the shutter on my A7III today
Took me about 2hours.
I've take out the motherboard 3 times prior, so I was already familiar with the process.
There is a very good step-by-step tutorial on youtube I followed.
My broken AFE-3360(200k rated A7-line) shutter got replaced with a new AFE-3379 (500k rated A9, A1, A7R-line) one.
Shuttercount was about 360K on my old one.
Hope this gives you guys some motivation to do it yourself if your shutter breaks ;)
