These two photos were taken in the exact same situation — one using the regular camera and another using Street Photography mode. Just look at the difference in texture between them. The regular photo looks annoyingly soft, while the Street mode one keeps much more detail.

The lighting was indoor with average lighting (not dark enough to justify this level of smoothing).

My camera settings have turned off all ai features, HDR turned off, Raw lighting turned on.

I don’t understand why the regular photo still looks so processed.

What is actually going on here, and how do I fix it?
