It seems like the government is serious this time with investigating all those nominee companies on samui/phangan.

Now, many of those companies are illegally being used to own land to circumvent the official legal 30 year leasehold

assuming they follow through with all of this, what is going to happen with all those villas/land? I read that they would have 180 days to sell it somehow, but what happens if they can’t find a buyer? Will those villas get seized by the state or what happens?

I guess it’s a good opportunity to load up with some nice villas If there should be a big fire sale coming up soon 🤔
