Drove 10h because I have seats for the game tonight.. is there a way to get merch beforehand?

As the title says, I drove from deep rural Québec and will have to drive back another 10h. Did it with a pick-up truck so the gas alone is 500$+ (probably ~600$).

The problem I'd like to solve is that I don't own a habs jersey but I'd love to have one for the game. Is there a way for me to get a jersey that will not cost me 200$+? Any place in Montreal sells cheaper/used versions?

I absolutely don't want my own name on it, I find that cringe, I don't need a specific player's name either even though I'd love a Carrier jersey.

PlanB : I could also settle for a past player (Pezzetta, Suban, Kovalev, Begin, Kostitsyn, Huet, Koivu, Markov...)

Also, planC : is there a place where I could get a t-shirt?

I know my post might sound cheap but with all the travel related expenses, the jersey's price busts the budget by too much. I also brought my favorite & most expensive cap... I feel like a hat trick will happen tonight so I'll also have to add that to the trip's total cost ;)

Hope anyone can provide me with a good last minute tip.

Context : Big time EDH player here, part of a friend group of 10 people who play 2-3 times a week when at least 3 people are available.

Everyone in the group have multiple decks, most have 10+ decks and we have a no proxy policy.

I'd say 90% of our decks are strong 3s and 4s.
___

The problem I want to address : we have 1 friend that only has 1 deck. That person's been playing Magic since the beginnings. He owns all the OG duals, the surveil lands, [[gaea's cradle]], [[nether void]], [[the one ring]], tutors and such. The fact that he owns a 10k$+ deck is not the issue here tho.

Obviously his deck is extremely powerful, has reanimator combos, lots of grave shenanigans and almost always wins through : [[emergent ultimatum]] / [[tooth and nail]] / [[show and tell]] / [[omniscience]] into infinite haste creatures. Games with him often end between turn 5-7 and his winrate is around 75%+.

I own 2 decks that can counter him somewhat easily and I don't mind playing them. Multiple people in the playgroup also own some decks that run enough interaction (grave hate, counterspells, exile permanents...) to counter him... More often than not my friends and I don't want to play the same two decks for 4-5 games in a row just to answer the meta.

The guy says he does not mind playing arch-nemesis every game but for me, and other people in the playgroup, playing against the same deck, same combo for 4-5 games a night, twice a week gets kinda boring. We already lost 1-2 players who don't say it explicitly but won't show up to EDH nights if there's a chance the guy shows up.

Even tho we mentioned our feelings about the fun-killing situation, the person says he does not want to play a non-optimized deck, loves his deck and has no intentions on playing something else.

___

Now the question : WWYD?

Edit : Wow, I get super downvoted & it's even worse in the comments when I just state facts... I know this subreddit is a Pro-proxy one and I would go the proxy way if I could but why downvote factual things about my situation? I'm just here for advice and get bashed instead, this is BS guys.

Little context : got my first epileptic seizure in March of 2025, doctors removed the Grade2 oligodendroglioma (pretty sure that's the name) a month later. It was in the frontal lobe, the size of a ping pong ball. The operation went well but affected my left side strenght for a little while, I recovered it now, thank god.

Bad news is the recent MRIs, 1 year after the operation, show the tumor is growing back and I got told by two independent doctors that at that speed I'll probably have a round 2 brain operation in the next years.

My wife and 5 of my best friends know about it but when I tried to talk to my family (parents & siblings), they dismissed it and said I was being too negative - that doctors will get the tumor out again and medicine will find a cure for it :/

Doctors can't/won't say but the fact that the tumor grows back this quick probably means I got some mutation or a Grade3 right? I have no idea how it works.

I'm currently still employed and feel defeated, having to slave away for money I don't really need and won't use. Everything at work feels so meaningless... especially trainings, workshops and meeting new colleagues. I work with a "mask" of my own face trying to be the same funny dude I was before all this but under the mask I just want to punch through my computer screen and tell some people to fuck off... not all of them tho I have great colleagues too.

I have no clue what to think or do. I'd like to get the bucket list going asap but with a 9 to 5 job that has good health insurance, it would make no sense to quit since I'd lose the salary/death coverage.

Relevant information : 40M, free healthcare system, I have a juicy REER/CELI (401k equivalent), my house will be fully paid by insurance when I die and I have 3 kids - 8-10-12 y/o, they don't know much except that I got a tumor removed a year ago.

Fun fact through this fucking depressing post : the 1st epileptic seizure happened live on Twitch for 100ish people to witness. The ambulance was sent by my WoW guildmates who used the little info they had about me to figure out my location.
