as the title say i'm curious about peoples storys of joining the rift, and what age most people start,
for example: i started league at 6 years old, my dad wanted me and my sibilings to become a pro team or smth,
unfortunatley my dad was a iron player and so all his advice was iron, leading me to be iron for years (not iron anymore but it took the team disbanding for it to happen),
he was a very quantity over quality practice kind of guy, lot's of spaming while he would go between watching us and comment on our gameplay, as you can imagine as a six year old i was not very skilled at leauge, i was my teams toplaner and i played a lort of garen, nasus and tryndamere,
as we were all just kids we didn't get many results (especialy being told what to do by a iron) and so my dad got frustrated, kicked me off the team (was 7 at the time) made my suport main sister go top so he could play support, (as you imagine without any succese) and banned me from the game,
i coulden't play much leauge because i was banned but when my dad was out (it was pretty rare since he was a stay at home dad, my mum was the one working) my brother would invite me to play draft or just custom game 1v1's
a couple years later i was 12 and i got back into leauge, my dad had given up on his pro team dream and all my older sisters no longer play leauge, so it was mostly just me and my brother, i didn't play much ranked tbh mostly norms, when i was 13 nearly 14 i started playing ranked and hit bronze and at 14 hit silver,
i'm now trying to hit gold before my birthday, bc my firends say being only silver at 14 is already cringe but at 15 ur just bad, i have a positive winrate though so i hope i can,
