I tried to lessen the use of social media by uninstalling it in my phone—only accessing it on my computer. I did this because I realize how much information my brain is consuming as it occupies space that can be used for other productive things.
Instead of being locked in and excited to be productive, I just felt more lonely. It's just me and the crickets out here. I've no one to talk to about my day, my hobbies, or anything. I always just talk inside my head—talking to myself. It is suffocating as if I did not exist.
