I recently passed the USTET and I’m beyond ecstatic! Childhood dream ko talagang mag-aral sa UST, but now, I’m torn because the course I got isn’t what I want anymore. Back in JHS, I wanted Psychology or something related, so I applied for Behavioral Science.

Before the results came out, I was sure I’d fail because I wasn't prepared—especially for the essay part, since I didn't research the exam beforehand. I lost hope and eventually applied for Optometry in CEU. Since then, I’ve grown to love Opto based on what I’ve seen online.

Now that the results are out, I feel so conflicted. Seeing that green text saying 'Qualified' made me happy, but I knew deep down I didn't want that specific course anymore. In the end, I didn't proceed with UST, but I didn't expect na ang hirap pala bitawan ng dream university ko. Seeing my classmates going to UST makes me feel envious, and now I’m wondering if choosing my desired course worth it if I’m feeling this way? Haha, I didn't know ganto pala yung feeling

Hello everyone! I feel very conflicted kung saan aka mag-aaral. For context, my course is Optometry and I have narrowed down to three schools I might be interested in. I barely see anyone talking about the optometry course here, (kung meron, it's lowk outdated haha) either way I want your guys' opinion to the schools na gusto ko.

1.) CEU MNL- Top palagi sa boards and undoubtedly one of the best schools for opto here in the Philippines. Though, I'm still very hesitant kasi maraming nagsasabi na very toxic daw and the facilities is old na? Already took the CEUCAT and passed but I just really wanna be sure.

2.) MCU- I don't really see much posts here sa reddit but based on the results sa boards parang it's okay naman! Would really consider this din kasi malapit lang sa SMGC vjnjvbv

3.) NU MOA- New lang yung opto program nila so there's no records pa sa board so I don't really know what to expect and it's a bit far from where I live. Still interested though cause based sa nababasa ko it's okay naman daw.

Please tell me if there's any more schools that offer optometry! I will also like to hear your thoughts if you study in the any of these schools. Thank you!
