it's your job to coordinate w/ ust admins. ano magagawa ng local scs if ang college admins is nakarely lang din sa announcement ng ust? edi kayo na dumiretso sa ust admins, which is your job anyway. wag niyo ipasa trabaho niyo sa local scs. it's a university-wide issue so it's your job to address it.

you were able to do it early last week. monday pa lang, may consti check na and a petition was submitted. by tuesday, we had an announcement. we know your petition doesn't guarantee a shift in learning modality, but that shouldn't stop you from doing your job.

you've proven that you can do it. why are you suddenly incapable of doing it now?

ano na? hindi naman nagbago situation ng students last week para hintayin niyo pa ulit mag-constituency check ang csc para lang makapag-formal request ng shift to evm/async sa inyo? from last week ba, biglang lumapit bahay ng mga affected students para mag-iba decision niyo every time may transport strike announcement? bigla bang naging dormer lahat?

maraming affected. mas mahirap at mas mahal makapunta sa uni. kahit nga yung mga moveit/angkas/joyride, ang hirap magbook kasi maraming students nagbbook lalo na sa morning since maraming pumapasok at that time.

lagi na lang kayong delayed. hindi naman nag-iiba sitwasyon ng mga estudyante niyo.

Can someone explain to me bakit admin lang evm pero studyante pumapasok? For context, almost 6 pm na kami nakalabas ng bldg only to find out andami nang gate sarado jusko, inask ko si kuya guard bat ang aga, sabi wala naman daw talaga dapat pasok accdg sa inadvice sa kanila ng higher ups kaya maaga na magsasara ung gates. hi, as shown above, valid ba mainis sa mga students na tuwang tuwa tuwing may strike? different program sila and they shared the announcement na may strike again and ang reactions nila puro nagsasaya. gets ko where they are coming from kasi ano nga ba naman yung di ka na babangon na maaga at magplantsa ng damit at maglakad/magcommute diba. pero wala na ba tayong kahit ounce of compassion para sa ibang tao? to the point na publicly masaya ka na may strike again kasi may possibility na may evm?

wala pa rito yung fact na hindi naman laging favor ang evm sa students kasi paano yung walang stable na internet diba? or skill based ang classes OR yung mga nagtthesis! yung mga animals sa animal facility!!

Following the conclusion of UST-SHS' Miting de avance, I am sure that you noticed positions wherein neither candidates are qualified. This could vary from redundant and/or unrealistic platforms, or the fact that they are simply unqualified for the position. With this in mind, I hope all students are aware of the power of abstaining.

You don't need to choose the "lesser evil" nor should you have to settle for something that will not satisfy the needs of the student body. Special elections exist, and this is a good time to utilize it. We have been politically succumbing to the need to pick a side due to the state of our national government, and we need to break this cycle starting from our very own institution.

This may seem irrelevant for some, but the vote you cast not only determines the future of the senior high school community but also the future you will have.

This is especially necessary for the post of the assistant secretary. Let's be real, neither of them are qualified. No experience in the office, projects that they can't properly sustain, and both of their over-the-top egos. Neither of them are the proper leader, and neither of them deserve a spot in the student council.

The student body deserves a set of leaders that can represent them, that has the plan and the capability to uplift them, and above all—the attitude that properly represents the character of a true Thomasian.

These are the leaders we get to choose, so let us choose wisely. There is no need for us to settle, because we have every right to choose what's best for us and the students who will succeed us.

I (F20) have been with my boyfriend (M20) for the last three years. Nung nanliligaw siya, grabe siya mageffort na hinaharana ako, kada linggo may date kami lagi, maraming mga flowers na just because, hinahatid, sinusundo, nililibre, just everything grabe!

Sinagot ko siya kasi never ko pa na-experience yung ganitong pagmamahal na I felt like a princess whenever he's available. And sinasabi niya na gagawa siya ng time kapag hindi siya available ganyan so syempre nafall ako. (I like my obsessive men im so sorry)

Anyway, cut to about three years later, parang hindi na niya nagagawa yung mga effort niya nung nanliligaw siya. Lagi niyang sinasabi na busy siya. For his defense, he is a working scholar (and balita ko parang stressed pa siya kasi gusto i-abolish ng csc pro candidate yung opportunity niya sa pag-aaral based on biased data) and student leader din siya sa org niya.

And gets ko naman marami siyang need gawin pero sabi niya kasi gagawa siya ng time. Pero nakakapagod na kasi na lagi nlng ako naghahabol sa oras niya. Dagdag pa na yung friend ko sa org niya, sabi is may kasama daw siyang girl na laging nagtatawanan. (Ive been cheated on in my last rs and i told him na insecure ako abt that pero ginagawa paren niya apparently)

Cut to two days ago, na pinuntahan ko siya sa tirahan niya kasi di siya nagrereply for 10 hrs and usually super bilis niya magreply.

Pagpasok ko ng room niya gamit spare key ko, andon sila magkasama. Naabutan ko sila nagtatanggal ng jacket.

Sabi ko, "mukhang busy nga kayo." Agad agad na ako tumakbo paalis pero hinigit ako ng bf ko pabalik.

Sabi niya, "let me explain! Naghahanap lang ako respondents na 18+, undergraduate student, and isang officer ng class or student organization basta mas mataas sa member!"

Hello po! I asked a similar question before, pero I can’t help but overthink ngayon since malapit na yung r3sults 🥹

For context po, I applied for Nursing, then Occupational Therapy as my second choice. I’m a Grade 12 HA student with no grade below 85, and I had a 91 average nung first sem.

If ever po na hindi ako pumasa sa buong entrance exam, may chance pa rin po ba na ma-exempt? Also, if ever po na hindi ko maipasa yung Science part, possible pa rin po ba na ma-exempt, especially since I know na heavy sa Science ang College of Nursing?

Additional question lang din po, if ever po ba na line of 7 or 8 ang scores sa subtests, possible pa rin po bang ma-exempt (for Nursing, OT, and MedTech)?

Lastly po, since may interview po ang Nursing and if ever nakapasa po ako, may I know po kung ano usually yung mga tinatanong? I’ve seen several posts about this, pero I’d like to know more details po huhu 🥹

- student demands report - now that i think of it, walang way for students to discuss policies and structures. like before, i wanted to raise a concern about the number of tests that can be administered in a day kasi parang unofficial yung mga rules (they said). and you can’t really raise it to anyone. admin? sc? idk. i think this is a good platform to critically evaluate our systems that constituency checks cant reach

- policy development framework for legislative board - to be frank, i think his idea here for the legislative board is quite ambitious. para siyang sanggunian central assembly ng admu or feu congress ng feu. ambitious pero kung may sistema namang inilatag, i don’t see how it’s a problem. we had something like this in my previous school. maganda nga kung parang ganyan ang maging sistema not only sa ust shs pero sa ust central

- constitution revision - i don’t know much about it and alam kong ginagawa na siya ng council. platform din ng purple president at pareho silang nasa council so there must be something really important there

- leaders listen - it’s actually a good initiative but i have my worries lang that students may diagnose and stuff. would it not be too technical for students din…

tayo - i like this platform. it finds a way for block vice presidents to do something and also brings social awareness to the block-level

pakat - gusto ko yung collaboration with pklp. but is the timeline not cramped? if it’s bi monthly and the it is for three days, how will the council and the faculty have time… also considering that block vps are busy with tayo… this may be too ambitious, maybe we can have it per month, pero i really like the idea of inviting actual people from the affected sector. good idea i hope the candidate is open to revisions

proposcal - this is not bad at all. last year i don’t remember the council presenting their gpoa so students don’t really have a say on what initiatives will be done for them
