I have some odd feelings about the relationship the guy I’ve been seeing has with his best friend 51/M. His friend does not like me. Almost to the point it seems like he’s trying to break us up by causing issues. The friend is married. They also call each other babe, love, and other pet names and it seems super weird to me. I’ve only been in this relationship for a few months but something seems off. The hatred (maybe jealousy) and pet names are not something I’ve witnessed before. Has anyone seen their significant other refer to his guy BFF as babe or love? Could they have more than a “friendship”?
