Little Enclosure Tour
I took over a friend's hamster because they don't have enough time to care for him anymore. I got an empty tank with a wheel and some hideouts, so I spent the weekend sawing planks together to try and make the best out of what I got.
Some notes:
I tried putting 20-30cm compressed bedding first, but he doesn't have any interest in burrowing. He will dig below planks and boxes, but that's about it, so I decided to use the space better by giving him some premade burrows. If he decides he wants to start burrowing down there, I will adjust the bedding height again.
The footage at the end with the plant is the newer setup. I moved the position of the sandbath and the clay tunnel so I can put the plant in. I will exchange it for wheatgrass or catgrass eventually.
