Outdated rules in clubs
I'm playing at a club in a couple weeks and they have some very outdated rules in terms of their treatment to women.
For example, their captains drive in is literally just for the captain. The men's captain does his drive in then all the past captains have lunch and then they all go home.
This golf club is over 100 years old and is the same age as mine yet our captains drive in is for all our captains (mens, ladies, junior boys / girls) with a competition afterwards open for everyone and a buffet. They don't seem to want to change anything either, the previous captain was wanting to at least get their ladies captain to have a place at their drive in but they were REJECTED by the members committee. Like it's 2026 and this shit is still happening????
