I dropped my phone (Redmi Note 13) about a year ago, and the battery bloated a few weeks later (though I’m not sure if the two events are related). I had the battery replaced, but it bloated again after about two or three months. At the time, I assumed the replacement battery was defective, so I had the same shop replace it again. When it happened a third time, I took it to a different shop. Before they replaced it, I asked if a faulty charging circuit could be the cause. The repair guy told me the charging circuit shouldn't cause bloating, so I trusted him—but now the battery has bloated yet again. What could be causing this, and how much would it cost to repair?
