I am 30 NB (but bio f), united states, white. This is something that’s been a part of my life for awhile but I’ve been paying more and more attention to it. The upper right side of my back has a constant sensory need, sometimes causing anxiety if it goes long enough without some form of massage like pressure. It’s been this way for years and thought maybe it was just an element of neurodivergence. However, the fact it is constant and significantly firmer than the left side of my upper back has made me wonder if it’s something worth mentioning to a doctor. Like if it is a sign of something else. Or just that I’m aging. The difference in firmness is something I’ve only paid attention to recently, but don’t know how long they’ve been so different. The firmer side also cracks frequently when I pop or stretch my back and the left side rarely does. Maybe worth noting that years ago I also got a mole removed from the upper right side. Am I just getting older or should I look into this?

Other info about me: 5’3”, 140lbs, and most consistently been on lamotrigine as a mood stabilizer (not epileptic). Most of my physical medical diagnosies are digestive (IBS potentially GERD) and naturally brittle teeth.
