How to Find Potential Buyers for SaaS Products?

Hey everyone,

I will keep this short and straight forward.

The hardest part nowadays is finding people that will use your product because it's easier to build than ever. A few days ago with a help of a friend launched a saas product that I could not even explain but I managed to get 3 paying users at $50/month.

The whole idea is to know where to present that product. If you show it to the wrong audience then no one will buy it.

So here are some tips:

  1. Cold email
    - Scrape emails from people that might want to buy your product, learn how to write the cold email, be short, talk about pain points and show case studies, offer a free demo, never sent a link or a file on the first email, write like you talk, don't use fancy words.

I have used Apollo, Hunter, Fonatica, Lemlist, Prosper, Snov and Google maps, the most important part is getting valid emails and lowering your bounce rate. Don't be afraid to pay for tools to double check your emails, there are even open source GitHub repositories with email validators so make sure you check those.

  1. Linkedin

- I assume everyone knows this but still here it is, built your profile to the max even if you have to lie about your career. Just list job experiences that are related to your saas. People buy authority, if they can't trust the product then won't buy it, so build trust and then send connects to potential clients. (You can later automate the whole process with LinkedIn automation tools)

  1. Social media

This one is simple, if you don't have an audience then find someone who does and make them work on %. You have tons of people on TikTok and instagram that are posting about AI or IT stuff.

For the first 5-10 users even manual outreach can work, if you can't find at least 2 users for your saas then either your product is bad or you are targeting the wrong audience.

Everyone is spamming with their products trying to make money, be different and be unique.

A bad product with good marketing will make more money than a good product with bad marketing.

Which means marketing is everything.

This was all written raw, without editing and without AI, so I hope that you will get my point.

Peace.

How does SEO Content Writer role still exist?

I am curious how does this role still exist? Like the current seo content writers are getting paid $500 a week for a 40 hour job copy-pasting AI generated content. The keyword research is done through SurferSEO, Semrush or Ahrefs and they just generate 30-50 articles per day.

They use 0 creativity, everything is AI generated. You could do a keyword research on Sunday, generate 200 articles with those keywords and schedule them accordingly. It's the same thing as hiring a seo content writer.

Only creativity can not be replicated...

Since yesterday I got my first 3 paying users

So basically everything happened in a span of a few hours after I tried to validate my idea.

The idea was really bad, showing if your email has been read. Then I come up to another idea, making it easier for saas founders to create an API for their app for $50/month.

I sent 2000 cold emails, same generic template for everyone, through 70 different email accounts, some of them were outlook, gmail and yahoo email accounts. Those were all my old emails that I had and I also used my whole family emails, I know that it's not perfect but it worked.

I sent them manually.

Now the thing is that I spend $2500 already on finding leads and we are still waiting for people reply, will keep you updated.

This whole post is not polished at all, I still can't believe that this actually happened.

Currently at $150 MRR.

Is cold email worth to promote my Saas products?

Hey everyone I am new to reddit. I am trying to build 2 apps right now, one is an alternative to higgsfield and the other one is to show if your email has been read. Now the thing is that I can't really promote them on reddit because there are many strict subreddit rules.

These will probably be high ticket saas products, like $100+ per month so what tools do you recommend. I tried the free version on Apollo but many of the emails that I sent were incorrect.

I've seen the guy that is selling websites which are considered a high ticket services and he used fonatica for finding leads and instantly for sending bulk emails.

Have anyone tried them, do they work, and how would I personalize 10k cold emails, do I need to write the text for each manually or is there a tool that can speed up the process? And how my emails not to land in spam.

Thank you.
