AMZL salaried leaders - when do all the targets become unattainable
I have been struggling lately with the expectations changes of this business line. The amount of targets we need to hit throughout the day has become extremely excessive. Requiring constant virtual monitoring, updating and reporting. Yet on the other hand we are expected to be present leaders for our associates, connecting with them and supporting them whilst managing all of the metrics in real time and safety first.
It's so contradictory at this point because there are too many asks. For instance, the first hour induct adherance. Make sure you induct 100-104% to plan, while we know you have 80% of your planned attendance the first hour. Make sure you stretch and hold a 5 minute start up, but make sure you have all your inductors scan a package by minute 7. But don't go into high WIP while you're still ramping to attendance. Make sure you connect with all your AAs especially the ones with icares and get those logged asap. We roll volume daily and I am being asked to include that number in my thrive now....a beautiful scare tactic when I already feel like we are all drowning out here in the operation.
What are we prioritizing any more? It seems like my list of tasks to verify has grown 3 fold from what it has been previous. My list of misses on a weekly basis has also increased. What am I supposed to put first?
How are you guys coping with all these changes? Anyone else coping with the loss of feeling accomplished occasionally? I feel defeated every day. I need to know if anyone else is feeling this way. Been with AMZL 9 years and have worked in multiple sites/states. Currently in the west region.
