It doesn’t help that our store is near some elderly homes and low income apartments while simultaneously being in what is one of the most gentrified and fairly expensive neighborhoods in the city. You really get to experience some of the dumbest and rudest people from all walks of life.
The only customers I seem to like are now the Instacart delivery people, they just show you what they need and be on their way. Everyone else wants their cold cut meats to perfectly measured to the exact centimeter of thickness and somehow expect you to read their mind that they actually want a completely different amount from what they originally asked you.
Or they don’t understand the concept of closing the slicers an hour before the store closes so you’re not staying past your scheduled time and that you shouldn’t be expected to give up half an hour of your own time for the potential chance a dumbass wants sliced provolone at 9:30pm on a Tuesday.
Rant over. How’s closing bakery? They don’t seem to be bothered by too many customers besides maybe something from the dessert counter or getting their bread sliced. I just need to get away from these customers
