Years ago, in the 1960s, my extended family built and owned a house in Michigan. For various (rather tragic) reasons, my side of the family sold their half of the property to the other side of the family — for a pittance.

I've always had some resentment, justified or not, for feeling my side of the family was fleeced by the other side: they are much more sophisticated financially and would never have just given away the property as mine did.

So my question: is there any possible way to reopen such a sale? Or is it just tough luck and "better negotiating next time"?

So we've got the hardware for a new streaming box to replace our old cable box BUT it'snot clear to me what happens to the DVR function. So three questions: 1) We now pay $14 a month for DVR service from Comcast. I assume that automatically transfers over to the new cloud DVR functionality? 2) Do I lose all the content that I've recorded on my old cable box? 3) Can I stop paying $14 a month for the DVR service since it is included for free in the new boxes?
