in my 40s just got diagnosed with binge eating disorder. I also have inattentive add. doctor wants me to try Vyvanse but I’m scared because i already have bad anxiety and sleep. I’m on a daily medication for anxiety and nerve pain. I’m wondering if you have existing anxiety did this make it worse? do I have to give up coffee? wine? chocolate with caffeine in it? is it a lifelong medication or can you get counseling for the disorder and then taper off? I did enter a therapy program. any advice appreciated.
