2010 Fit TPMS Sensor Replacement
So I recently bought a 2010 Honda fit and it's been great the last 6 months I've had it. The tpms light has been on since I bought it and I wanted to just get them replaced since I was getting new tires anyways.
I bought these on eBay and yes the post looks super flashy and baity but I figured it can't be that bad to get some off brand tpms sensors since like who cares they are kinda pointless. Anyways got them installed today and the programming tool at Tires Choice could not even detect them, all 4 they could not detect.
Was I dumb to buy these? The reviews and such state they haven't had issues and I figured it would be an easy swap. The name brand ones tires choice told me to get are EZ Sensor but a 4 pack of those are like $120 and I don't care that much about the light. Just shitty I paid $30 for these cheapo ones and paid like $20 to get them installed for nothing. Can anyone tell me if I'm an idiot or if there is some way I don't know to get these connected to my car. The listing even says no programming needed, just needs to be relearned to the car and they said they tried that first then tried programming and neither worked.
