The clone army of the Republic was put into production 10+ years before the Battle of Geonosis. So, what exactly did they think they were training for, since the Separatists didn't really exist as a faction during most of their lives before the war. What did the Kaminoans tell them? Did the Kaminoans even know about why the Republic would even want an army or did they just pocket the credits and not wonder?
