Wegovy injections vs wegovy pill for restart
Because of loss of job I had to discontinue use of the wegovy injections since Dec. I was at a .50 low dose for maintenance at that time. My PCP couldn't refill because of the 4 months off and my bmi is still within acceptable range. I have gained 12lbs back since Dec but am "just within" the acceptable BMI range. I contacted HERS and was approved. They started me at the 1.50 wegovy pill and said it was equivalent to my .25 injection to start low and build back up to lose and the back down to maintain. Is the wegovy pill of 1.50 truly equivalent to the .25 injection? I haven't started it yet because last week I was put on antibiotics and a steroid for ear and sinus infections. I want to start back up but hesitate due to dosage difference. Note: I got very very sick when I 1st started treatments last time on the .25 injection. Any help or advice would me appreciated..
