Been into Waylon and Merle lately, and instead of selling my Mustang to buy a Tele, I wondered what mods, including and excluding pickup swaps, could be made to give it a primo western sound?
Couldn’t find many reviews or posts about this shoe, so figured I’d make one. Picked up for 25% off, $145cad tax in. Fits just a hair short of perfect half size down, they didn’t have TTS, but half down felt good enough to buy. Heel to toe drop is noticeable coming from skate shoes, but not too extreme.
I know Moabs or something would probably be better for day hikes, but I wanted a reasonably stylish, wide friendly, climber/approach/lace to toe style shoe.. and aside from these, I’m not sure any others exist in this price range.
Any fans of this model? Pics or opinions to share? Long term durability? While the available colourways are decent, I feel like there’s so much potential for future ones.
