In a market saturated with RGB and virtual 7.1 surround sound gimmicks, the Fnatic React stands out by focusing on one thing: competitive clarity. Here is my long-term review.

Audio Profile

The sound signature of the React is clearly tuned for eSports. The highs and mids are emphasized, which makes footsteps and weapon reloads in games like CS2 or Valorant extremely easy to pinpoint. If you are looking for deep, cinematic bass for movies, these might feel a bit "flat," but for competitive gaming, they are spot on.

Microphone Quality

This is where the React shines. The detachable cardioid mic is surprisingly clear and does a great job at filtering out background noise. My teammates noticed a significant upgrade in my voice clarity compared to my previous headset.

Comfort & Build

The build is minimalist but sturdy, featuring a metal headband that feels like it can take a beating. The protein leather ear cups are plush and provide decent passive noise isolation. Even after 4-hour sessions, I didn't feel the typical "clamping" fatigue.

Introduction

After using the Epomaker TH80 SE as my main driver for a couple of weeks, I wanted to share my thoughts on why this board remains a staple in the budget mechanical keyboard community.

Build Quality & Aesthetics

The TH80 SE feels remarkably solid for a plastic case. The "Special Edition" adds a touch of refinement with its RGB implementation and the iconic knob, which feels tactile and responsive. The 75% layout is, in my opinion, the perfect middle ground for both gaming and productivity.

Typing Experience (Switches & Stabs)

I tested the unit with Gateron Pro Yellow. Out of the box, the typing experience is surprisingly "thocky" thanks to the internal damping foams. The stabilizers come pre-lubed; while not perfect, they are much better than most mainstream gaming keyboards. There’s very little rattle on the spacebar.

Connectivity

The tri-mode connectivity (Bluetooth 5.0, 2.4GHz, and USB-C) is flawless. Switching between my laptop and desktop is near-instant, and I haven't noticed any input lag during gaming sessions on the 2.4GHz dongle.

Pros:

Cons:

-The software can be a bit clunky to navigate.

-Keycaps are not shine-through: The stock PBT keycaps feel premium, but the legends are opaque. This means the RGB lighting only provides a "glow" around the keys rather than illuminating the letters, which can be a downside for those who type in dark environments.

Final Verdict: The TH80 SE is a fantastic "entry-level enthusiast" board. It’s perfect for those who want a great experience without having to mod everything immediately.
