I had a very large cyst on my chin injected with kenalog beginning of January and over time the cyst went down but not completely away. Immediately there was some post inflammatory hyperpigmentation but overtime I started to notice that a divot was forming but it was also under my chin so hard to see in the mirror. It wasnt until nearly 6 weeks had passed and I went in for a facial and my aesthetician gave me a mirror to see how large and depressed it was. I got it injected with saline twice in March and BBLed 4x but the improvement was minimal so I just got it injected with filler. But I think it looks worse not better… is this permanent? Any recommendations? First pic - skin before cyst formed and got injections. The subsequent pics are between Jan and now. The last two pics are my chin before all of this and the two before that are now, a week after filler because the saline injections didn’t seem to make noticeable improvements (I think I waited too long to get them).
And yes, I am on a 9 month waitlist to see a dermatologist…
