I'm just getting started with home automation, and one of my projects is to set up a notification when someone rings the doorbell. I have a standard 220V doorbell with the following wiring:
push button ------- live wire
push button ------- doorbell
doorbell -------- neutral wire
After reading through some forums, I’ve chosen the Sonoff ZBMINIR2 for this project, and I think I have a clear idea of how the connection and setup should work, but I’d like to double-check with someone who’s already done this (I just blew up a Sonoff R2 :-()
push button ----- S1 ZBMINIR2
push button ----- S2 ZBMINIR2
live wire ---------- Lin ZBMINIR2
neutral wire ------ N ZBMINIR2
Lout ZBMINIR2 -- Doorbell
N ZBMINIR2 ----- Doorbell
Pulse mode
(The available modes are: Edge, Pulse, Following ON, and Following OFF)
Has anyone else encountered a similar setup? does my theory make sense?
