Petco just rolled out new displays of pacman frogs, tarantulas, and jumping spiders being marketed as "desk pets". They are being kept at the front of stores in tiny, non-humidity/heat-controlled boxes, and often without water and food. They are often arriving ON ICE, and customers have already been observed shaking the boxes. This is going to lead to so many frog/invert. deaths both in-store and after being purchased by unsuspecting customers. If you don't already, PLEASE boycott this company, and consider signing the online petition to get them to stop this abuse.
