Been thinking about this a lot lately about the whole anonymous website traffic problem (we found a solution but i'm wondering if I could improve what we built even more). We'd see spikes in Google analytics and know people were interested, but it was basically a black box. For a while, we just wrote it off as 'cost of doing business'

About a year ago we set up a simple stack to try and fix it. It's nothing crazy: a reverse IP tool to see which companies are browsing, Salesnav for contact hunting, and an automation platform to connect the dots.

the workflow is pretty straightforward now, when the reverse-IP tool flags a company that fits our ICP, my team finds the most relevant contact in Sales nav and pushes them straight into la growth machine (outreach platform). We built a specific sequence for this that isnt spammy, with a real work on analyzing leads, warming them up and a good copywriting. It just starts with a profile visit, then a soft email a couple days later.

tbh the key is that we hooked everything together with Make. The second a good company is identified, the contact is enriched and dropped into the right LGM campaign automatically. It makes the follow up super fast, which seems to make a big difference.

its not perfect, but itss consistently turning about 12 -15% of those ghosts into actual qualified conversations. It added a predictable stream to our pipeline from traffic we were previously just ignoring. Anyone else running a similar play? Some insights to improve what Ive build? Any recos are welcome!
