hi everyone! I need some insight/support. I came out to my family about 2 years ago, and my parents aren't supportive, specifically my mom. I am no contact with my mom currently because she hasn't been supportive/accepting and has said lots of mean things to and about me. I am not sure how to deal or manage Mother's Day because I plan on not reaching out. It's very hard for me because I've always wanted that mom/daughter connection, and seeing social media, going into stores, mothers' day cards, and ads just adds to it. so if someone has any tips or tricks on how to deal with this holiday, that would be very helpful!
