Salem in the Rain

Sorry if this is an annoying tourist question. I am planning to visit next week and I can see it's supposed to rain the days I'm there. I'm trying to figure out if this is going to impact any of the things I want to see there. What's the vibe of Salem in the rain? Do some of the crowds stay away? I will not have a car, I'll be taking Ubers or walking. I wanted to see as much as possible in a few days. Does anything close when it rains? Thanks in advance! -an anxious tourist

Working through some stuff lately (I've been divorced for a yeah now THANK GOD) and I thought I would post here in case anyone else has had the same experience.

Over the course of 20 years, he would occasionally write in a journal hoping I would read it and then leave it out for me to read. Usually when he was in a collapse or a bad place and blaming his unhappiness on me. I believe it was his way of trying to get me to change my behavior or leave him. And it worked when I was young, but towards the end of our marriage when I was already checked out and just hoping he would leave me so he wouldn't be the victim, he would write in it all the time and leave it on the table when he would go out of town. I never picked it up because I didn't want to know. Because everything I read in it when I was younger was hateful and horrible about myself and I stayed anyway because I was insecure and trauma bonded. So after he finally filed for divorce I picked it up and read it one day (he filed but didn't move out for nine months until he was forced to) and sure enough it was all this stuff that looked like a teenager had written it (sad faces and all) talking about how everything was over and we just needed a divorce. For a while during the divorce he tried to get me back because he regretted filing, I read the journal again and it was all about how he regretted filing and loved me.

Anyway if you are finding this happening in your home and they are leaving things out tempting you to read them, just know it is probably on purpose and move forward with caution.
