Clean up your NP3: My list of 80 bloatware apps removed via Canta

Clean up your NP3: My list of 80 bloatware apps removed via Canta

Hi everyone! 👋

I want to share my personal debloat list for the Nothing Phone (3), optimized using Canta (the Shizuku-powered uninstaller).

I’m sharing the file (link below) so you can easily copy the list and import it directly into the app to save time. 🛠️

📋 What’s in the list?

I removed the apps that respect those points:

  • Recommended: Almost all apps tagged as "Recommended" by Canta have been removed.
  • Advanced: A few "Advanced" apps were uninstalled after testing for stability.
  • Approach: I follow a FOSS and "deGoogled" philosophy, keeping only the bare essential services for the OS to function.

⚠️ Manual Tweaks & Warnings

Some apps were manually disabled in the phone settings instead of being uninstalled via Canta to avoid system "bootloops" or loss of essential features:

  • Gboard: Replaced with FlorisBoard (Open Source & Privacy-friendly). ⌨️
  • Google App: DO NOT uninstall via Canta if you use Android Auto. If uninstalled, Android Auto will fail to launch. It’s better to simply disable it. 🚗
  • Support Components: Manually disabled to reduce background telemetry.

📊 Why do this? (Objective Benefits)

By applying this list, you should notice:

  • Lower RAM Usage: Fewer background processes running. 🧠
  • Battery Longevity: Reduced "Idling Drain" from telemetry and pre-installed bloatware. 🔋
  • Cleaner UI: No more redundant icons in your app drawer.

📝 Note for the community

Please remember that this list was tailored to my specific workflow

  • Check before you click: Review the list before importing to ensure you don't remove an app you actually use. 🔍
  • Backup: Always good practice to have a backup of your data before performing system-wide debloating.

I hope this helps anyone looking to optimize their device! If you have any advice, questions, found a specific package that shouldn't be touched or a package to add, feel free to drop a comment!

I currently have a very small printer and I am using small kitchen containers filled with IPA to clean my prints (using a 3-stage washing process).

Since I would like to switch to Water Washable (WW) resin, specifically the type that can be cleaned with both water and alcohol, can I use the same containers, which are already contaminated with standard resin, to clean my WW prints?

I need to finish the standard resin I have left and I don't want to waste the alcohol. Before switching to water, it would be convenient for me to use the same IPA to clean both standard and WW resin prints.
