Has anyone used this kit? Will using just the parts provided in this kit fix the horrendous time chain noise on startup or is it necessary to do the cams and phasers as well?

9 times out of 10 will rattle on startup

Oil level gets checked weekly, never been low

2010 bk1 3.8 gt 195,000km (121k miles)

(Purchased the car at 181,000, previous owner claimed it was done at 176,000 but I’m finding that hard to believe as the horrible rattle on startup)

As long as it’s been in my ownership I’ve only used full synthetic 5-30 and oem oil filters (oil and filter every 5k km (3100miles) but seen no improvement
