im thinking about how i wanna do the eyes for my custom crochet doll of myself one is embroidered closed eyes one is beaded eyes

closed eyes are good bc theyre unique and stand out from other dolls online but i hate embroidering on amigurumi and it makes it look like an anime doll when i want it to be for the general audience

beaded is easier and works but is a very common look with other crochet artists online

hello hello! paninibae on tiktok here!

i am a 21 yr old crocheter who wants to grow my tiktok

for some time now, i've been working on a new crochet account on tiktok because crochet has been my #1 comfort hobby for a few years now ever since it became more mainstream on the platform during covidish time. i've been wanting to grow it and promote my creations with people and get people engaging with my content but i admit i've been in a creative block in finding the right way to brand myself and make fitting content that people would enjoy. if you visit my page, i make amigurumis and some cute 2 matching 2-piece sets. I think the quality is reflective of how much experience i've had with the craft! i had a crochet account from 2022 that grew to 36k followers that unfortunately got hacked somehow and most of my videos got deleted... so i dropped content creation and am now trying to pick it back up again!

the main issue i'm facing is figuring out what to post and what to crochet to help me stand out

- i'm not a teenager anymore.. and i don't want to make plushies that cater toward young kids (because that's what i was doing to get the most engagement back then)

- i am best at making amigurumi, but i now find it boring to follow patterns and projects that oversaturate the crochet community online like cows, bees, and such

- i'm not that patient of a person haha, and its hard to crank out videos fast when crochet is such a slow art (i could repost projects i've already posted but it feels so spammy!)

- i don't want to make over-the-top "influencer sounding" content that sounds desperate to grab attention (which i was also doing back then haha)

- choosing a project is hard because it has to be something that i REALLY like or else it'll just clutter my space and sit for months

- if i am going to make a shop, i don't know what people would actually want in crochet form nowadays

TLDR; I’m rebuilding my crochet TikTok after losing my old account and feeling stuck creatively—what kind of crochet content/projects would you actually find interesting or worth following/buying?

if you've gotten the chance to visit my page i'd so appreciate the help!
