This sub made me want to check some paper, a couple years ago we ripped up the carpet and sanded the floors in our 1890 house which we bought 5 years ago through the Help to buy equity loan scheme. The builder had laid the carpet over the Chrsyolite paper

When we sanded the floors boards with paper on were sanded in the process, dust everywhere as expected. Me as the average joe had never heard of Asbestos paper and would have thought due diligence would have been done by the builder. Guess we're cooked.
