Found something
Hello reddit, first of all I'm french and English is not my native language so grammar might be a little but clumsy, sorry about that.
A few years ago I got my hand on these speakers for helping someone to move the house of their dead parent (they basically had a room full of stuff they wanted to give to charity and told me I could help myself if I wanted something in that room).
I could use some help identifying these, the tweeter is obviously a Decca London but there's nothing on the boomer and on the front mesh cover there's an aluminium plaque with the logo Decca London. All this and the graph for frequencies response make me think these are Decca made.
But the bass reflex opening being made of PVC pipe, the messy electronics for filtering and the foam look DIY.
Are those authentic Decca speakers? The ribbons in the tweeters are torn, can they be replaced? Is it worth to try to repair it ?
Thanks for your help!
