This show just suddenly popped into my head, an incredibly 90s dating show hosted by Chris Tarrant where rejected men were pushed into a swimming pool. Is this the worst of this type of show?!
When I was at school there was an expectation to go to uni and it wasn’t too tricky to get a job afterwards. Now I’m reading a lot about graduates struggling to find work, with degrees unused. Are parents now advising their kids to get apprenticeships instead, or are there some subjects which are better long term?
I have one teen who wants to study and have a career in maths, and one who doesn’t know what they want to do, so I was leaning towards advising on gaining a trade.
