Hello, I recently bought a rode micro on Amazon. However, it's not pairing to the USB micro device. I have fully charged the bad boy with the given USB cord. Can someone help me?

The microphone doesn't pair when the device is connect to my MacBook or iPhone.

I press the pair on the Central app, it wiggles waiting to connect, but it never connects.

Can someone help me understand what's happening? I'm pretty tech saavy, but maybe I'm doing something wrong.
