Demotion exists for a reason in most games. It allows you to play against opponents of your level.

Sure, it will be sad to go from legend to diamond, but the current format is even worse for me. I lose in legend at the end of the season a lot. Same on day 1-2 of the season in gold.

I'd much rather get my 7-8 wins in lower ranks than 3 victories in legend.
