Hey everyone — I currently have a Breville Barista Pro (878), but I’m moving soon and thinking about upgrading to something more serious. The $4000 budget does not include the grinder.

Right now I’m looking at ECM Synchronika II, Lelit Bianca, and Profitec Drive.I’m leaning toward the ECM, but I’ve heard mixed things about long-term reliability (like issues popping up after a couple years), so I’d love to hear real-world experiences.

Also curious how these compare in daily use — workflow, build quality, temperature stability, etc.

One more thing: I’ve only ever used built-in grinders. If I go with one of these machines, I’ll need a separate grinder — any recommendations for a good pairing?
