Items needed for school

Hi everyone! Since my cycle has come to a close, I'm now getting ready for the school year by (lots of) relaxing and slowly purchasing items I will need for classes! Heres what is on my list so far, please lmk if you have any other suggestions. I'm a few years out of school so I could defintely use the guidance.

  • Tote with a lunchbox/cooler compartment so I don't need to carry multiple bags. I have a backpack already if I find the tote to be too much on my shoulder.
  • Quimbee subscription
  • White board with an easel
  • Highlighters (I've heard bible highlighters are better for not bleeding through) and the typical pens/pencils
  • Post-it notes
  • Planner
  • Flashcards
  • Portable second screen
  • Notebooks

Also, how does everyone prefer to take notes? I'm such a pen to paper person but I know that some professors speak so fast that its difficult to keep up. In some undergrad classes I would copy the syllabus into an outline on Google Docs and then use the different sections as headers for my notes. Has anyone had experince with this? I already have a laptop that folds back completely, so if you have any good recs for note taking applications for touchscreen laptops I'd love to hear them.

I'm sure its gonna be a trial and error, figuring out what works best for my situation, but I'd be grateful for any new advice to keep in mind. Thanks in advance!
