I'm 16F, but turning 17 in about a week.
I met this boy around one year ago in something like a "competition" I think, were in the national fase, the best ones would spend 3 days doing tests and socializing with each other and so. Don't really know how to explain.
Last year we didn't talk much, probably the most we did was like sharing our names. But this year we qualified to the final again, and literally spent the whole 3 days with each other. The guy is so fun and kind. Never met anyone so polite.
After that we kept texting each other all the time, and talking on call everyday.
My parents have met and talked to him on the final day of the competition in the ending ceremony,, and sometimes talk to him when we're on call. I think they have a good impression of him.
The problem is that he literally lives 1500km away, and I can only go there by plane:(
I wanted to go there during summer vacation, in August. But I don't really know how to ask them, and what I should say. How should I ask? Do you think it is possible?
Some informations that may be useful:
- he is EXTREMELY polite
- he's 3 years older, I think
- he leaves alone, because his highschool is too far from where his parents live
- I have extremely good grades at school, almost all perfect scores(don't know if this helps in anything 🤷♀️)
- I do my best to help at home
