Things to Know Before Taking a Pilates Instructor Course?

Hi all, I’m from Malaysia. After practicing Pilates for about 1.5 years, I’ve realized that I’m very interested in pursuing a Pilates instructor course to deepen my understanding of human anatomy, movement foundations, and Pilates principles.

Initially, I was considering some well-known certifications such as STOTT, BASI, and Polestar. However, they are currently a bit out of my budget. Because of that, I’ve started looking into Korean Pilates certifications like Edupim and KIPA, as they are more affordable and seem to cover all the apparatus.

Before signing up for an instructor course, is there anything in particular I should take note of or be cautious about? For example, recognition, teaching quality, anatomy depth, practical hours, or career opportunities afterward.

Anyone here took Edupim or KIPA pilates certification? I would love to hear your thoughts about this.

Would really appreciate any advice or experiences shared. Thank you!
