I have a question. Me (F22) is getting to know someone (M28) islamically. Both of our parents are already involved and my dad also met him already. He seems like a nice guy and we have a lot in common.
There’s just one thing that really makes me sad and gets on my nerves. He takes 0 initative. He never called me/ suggested to call me. I had to initiate a call twice (that’s the only time we called). I also even mentioned that I don’t like to suggest it always and he said he is “shy” and doesn’t want to make me “uncomfortable”. He also never ever said anything about my appearance. Never a compliment nothing. Is that normal ? Shouldn’t he compliment the women he is going to marrry (maybe)? It’s so embarrassing to say it I can’t just say why don’t you compliment me ? I already send pictures here and there but he says nothing only “have fun” or something.
What do you guys think ?
