As title. I've used mx greys on a filco 2 board and cnc alu case day in day out for the longest time.

Time to build some new boards and find a better switch. Got a keychron Q3 for hotswap testing purposes. I will solder up the winning switch into a spare filco2 board, cos I just love that top-mount feel and heavy alu case.

I have a bag of Boba U4T 68g and they feel nice but too light. Have TX 80g 18mm springs ordered to try in them.

Also ordered MX clears, plan to spring swap those same springs in and add films, and finally I will also try those TX springs in my old stock greys.

My "maybe order some" list has Zealio V2 on there but availability and cost has those on pause until I've built the above.

What other experiments are worth trying, so I can have MX grey stiff feel - but better.. smoother, more tactile, less mushy? What's your favourite heavy tactile and why? Bonus appreciation if you are a reformed MX grey user. Ty. 😊
