It's actually crazy how many pity compliments you get once you put on a fancy dress. Absolutely absurd.

I was at a wedding and posted a photo of mine on social media. The responses were a fever dream of 😍 emojis. All of them were pity compliments, initially I wanted to delete that sht, but whatever. The absolute craziest compliment came from a friend, hold on to your seats now: "My grandma thought you were the prettiest girl there after the bride!". Girl, your grandma is 96 and had multiple surgeries to save her last 10% of her vision, what are you even talking about😂😭

Also not a Case of BDD, I have been unattractive for my whole life. It has been a topic of "conversations" countless times. I work with psychotic people and they are honest af, the times they called me out on my ugliness is not even countable. Last week a client came to me and very shyly told me "Sorry.. I just have to tell you something. I only see you as an elephant right now due to your nose"😂😂 That didnt even make me mad cause that was funny atleast😂

All notes aside, the wedding was bomb, I was having an absolute blast. Would have been a better evening though if people didnt try to stroke my ego with unecessary remarks. I could live with my ugliness so much better, if they didnt push it down my throat with fake compliments. All they do is make themselves feel better because they think they did something good there lol.
