I have an Alen 75 i and I started with the fresh filter which has a shorter life, but will be moving to the pure filters in future. I would like to know others experience with how many months before replacement and if possible how many hours a day and what speeds do you use. I started with 24/7 use, but now based on normal air quality I can shut it off or level 1 at night as I have a separate unit in my bedroom which is closed off. Also, same question if you have an Alen 45i. Thanks!

I put together a Clean Air Kits Luggables Ultra yesterday.. Well more or less, it still does not fit together right. But the filters are 3 M Filterete 1900 I got from Target. They have a very noticeable fragrance. Not a manufacturing type smell but like it came from the packager and plastic pkging. Didn't think I would have this issue with HVAC filters. It's a bit milder today after overnight in the garage. Hopefully I buy early and let them air out? 😛
